Clip: AAA with endoleaks

Clip: A patient in their 70s presenting to the emergency department with chest pain and back pain. The patient was s/p abdominal aortic grafting several years prior. Aorta POCUS demonstrated abdominal aortic aneurysm with multiple type 1 and type 2 endoleaks. Anechoic fluid adjacent to grafting demonstrates the endoleaks.
POCUS Pearl: In any patient with a history of endovascular AAA repair (EVAR) presenting with abdominal, back, or flank pain, POCUS should aid in confirming the presence of the aortic endograft and measure the aneurysm sac. An enlarging aneurysm sac despite EVAR should raise concern for an endoleak, even when color Doppler does not demonstrate active flow.
